About "Ms. Tricia"


Tricia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English: Literature and Language, and a Masters degree in K-12 Education from the University of Southern California. She received a K-12 teaching credential as well. Tricia spent her first few post-graduate years teaching in a Jewish day school, Sinai Akiba Academy, and in a Catholic school, Mayfield Junior School, in the Los Angeles area. Tricia’s private school career continued at secular institutions: The Buckley School and Brentwood School. Tricia has experience in sales, marketing and management. She managed two retail stores in the craft industry – one independently-owned, and the other corporate-owned. She also gained office management experience working in dental offices. Tricia returned to teaching after she and her family moved to Snoqualmie, Washington. Before opening RVFS, she taught at the Soundview School, an International Baccalaureate school, in Lynnwood. Tricia and her husband, Ethan, have three children: ages twenty-four, twenty, and thirteen. Tricia served as the Service Unit Manager of the Northeast Texas Girl Scouts, which included over fifty troops and their leaders. She has also been a Girl Scout troop leader and a cheerleading coach. She has experience in theater, voice, and art, and is passionate about integrating the arts into children’s daily lives. Her family including Slinky (a very spoiled wiener dog) live very close to school in downtown Snoqualmie.
